Accommodation and Canteen Manager

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, Property Management, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 -7 years of experience in property, facility, or building management.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of building regulations, safety, environmental, and occupational health requirements.
- Experience in industrial plants, manufacturing environments, or multi-site organizations is highly preferred.
- Have experience in occupational safety or have served as a Safety Officer at the management level.
- Strategic thinking and project management skills.
- Budgeting, cost control, and financial awareness.
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Service-oriented mindset with proactive working approach.
Responsibilities:
Employee’s Accommodation & Facility Management
- Plan, manage, and control employee Accommodation, canteens, Fitness room, Laundry, Parking and common areas.
- Ensure all facilities, utilities, and infrastructure are maintained in safe, functional, and compliant condition.
- Continue and expand good hygiene and safety practice through Canteen and Accommodation using SMEs.
- Report all non-functional equipment and infrastructure to correct responsible person asap.
- Continue to administer and maintain company culture regarding Safety, Food Safety, Environment and GHP through existing SMEs and existing programs.
Strategic Planning & Project Management
- Develop Accommodation and facility management strategies aligned with business plans, plant expansion, and operational needs.
- Manage renovation, construction, relocation, and facility improvement projects from planning through execution.
Vendor & Contract Management
- Oversee contractor and service provider management, including TOR preparation, bid evaluation, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring.
- Ensure vendors comply with contractual terms, Safety, Food Safety regulations, and company standards.
- Ensure that all venders maintain at satisfactory level for employee wellbeing.
Budget & Cost Control
- Prepare, manage, and control annual budgets for Accommodation and Canteen management, utilities, maintenance, and facility-related services.
- Monitor expenses, analyze cost efficiency, and propose cost optimization initiatives.
Compliance, Safety & Audit Support
- Ensure full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to buildings, safety, environment, and occupational health.
- Support and coordinate internal and external audits (e.g. ISO, GMP, Fire Safety, Environmental and Food Safety audits).
- Identify risks related to property and facility operations and implement mitigation measures.
Space & Asset Management
- Manage space utilization and layout planning to maximize operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate asset registers and lifecycle plans, including repair, replacement, and capital investment planning.
Canteen & Accommodation Management
- Oversee facility readiness, hygiene, safety, and service standards of company canteens and employee Accommodation.
- Oversee and ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, building safety, and environmental standards for both the canteen and employee accommodation in accordance with applicable regulations and company policies.
- Establish, monitor, and continuously improve food quality, service standards, and living conditions while conducting regular employee satisfaction assessments.
- Develop, implement, and enforce rules and regulations related to facility usage, accommodation, and access control in alignment with company policies and legal requirements.
Team & Performance Management
- Lead, supervise, and develop the property management and facility teams.
- Set goals, evaluate performance, and ensure continuous skill development of team members.
- Conduct a satisfaction assessment of both the employee Accommodation and canteen services to ensure meet the standard requirements.
Reporting & Stakeholder Coordination
- Prepare management reports on facility conditions, budgets, risks, and improvement plans.
- Coordinate with HR, GA, Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and external authorities as required.
