Assistant Transport Manager

- Male or Female, age 30-45 years.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics, Transport Management, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in transport management, preferably in Own Fleet operations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and transport cost management skills.
- Proficient in preparing KPI reports and cost analysis.
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel, GPS/TMS systems, and analytical tools.
- Experience in creating transportation service rates is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexibly and commit to extended working hours when required.
1. Support daily transport operations, including planning delivery schedules, routes, and driver assignments to ensure timely performance.
2. Monitor transport activities and assist in resolving operational issues such as route changes, vehicle breakdowns, or delivery delays.
3. Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery performance.
4. Report and follow up on incidents, accidents, or vehicle damages.
5. Assist with driver onboarding, training, and performance coaching in coordination with the Master Driver or HR team.
6. Evaluate driver performance, monitor safety compliance, and implement improvement plans when necessary.
7. Prepare and analyze transport performance reports, including delivery efficiency, costs, and fleet utilization.
8. Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance routing, scheduling, and overall transport efficiency.
