Assistant Manager, Retail Operations
SEPHORA (THAILAND) CO., LTD.
- Minimum University diploma/degree
- Minimum 2 years’ work experience in a beauty/fashion customer and commercial focused retail environment
- Minimum 2 years’ work experience in Retail operation role.
- Minimum of 12 months’ Store Management responsibility is advantageous
- Advanced MS Office proficiency (Excel and Power Point proficiency is required)
- Service oriented with great passion for retail industry with comprehensive product, retail and industry understanding
- Good analytical skills with an eye for detail
- Strong interpersonal communicate skill with positive mindset
- Hard-working and able to handle multitasking Highly organized
- Good communication with both Thai and English is a must
Your main aim will be to lead continuous improvement projects within the retail department, enhancing retail standards and overall performance. This role provides a comprehensive opportunity to develop expertise in elevating standards and driving performance. You will support the retail team in achieving and surpassing store sales and profit objectives. Responsibilities include effective management of store resources to ensure a superior Sephora shopping experience for customers, embodying the Sephora Ambassador role by consistently demonstrating the company's values and attitude. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate implementation of company policies, procedures, initiatives, and directives.

• Optimize internal communication between stores and Head Office to support retail operation efficiency
• Assist Head of Retail to oversee the Retail Operations and ensure compliance with Sephora standards (operation guidelines, merchandising guidelines, audit requirements, customer service, stock monitoring, marketing campaign set up, in-store digital/tech, NSO, store maintenance)
• Support the Country General Manager or Head of Retail on Retail Operations required reports and presentation.
• Cooperate with Regional and SEA Retail team.
• To build trust and strong relationships between store teams, HQ functions and Regional functions.
Responsibilities:
Internal Communication
• Gather, coordinate and collate information from all departments into the “Action Box”, a weekly communication tool centralizing information flows from HQ to stores in a clear and concise document
• Ensure all departments follow the “Action Box” guidelines, information are accurate, clear and complete.
• Send the Action Box to the stores and to the HQ all users every week on Tuesday and the Action Box reminder every Friday.
• Follow-up the evolution pro-actively (foster anticipation, react to departments & stores feedback, send regular reminders, and constantly improve the tool…)
• Involve in assigned meeting with Store, HQ and Regional team.
Reports & Presentations
• Providing business results, analysis and following up on some key stores’ performances with Head of Retail / Store Manager such as Local vs Tourist Report, Store Productivities, BA Productivity, Tools performance and audit results, involved in preparing and compiling various reports and presentations.
• Weekly / Monthly / yearly reports
• Monthly KPIs to update the store ID
• Love Meter monthly report
• Monthly Stock Adjustment Analysis
• Monthly Exception Report Analysis
• Quarterly store KPIs awards
• Store Operation / SM Meeting presentation
• Follow up work tasks for retail operation on a day2day basis.
Events & Rostering
• Coordinate any events launched in stores for example: Sephora Events, Brands Events, Marketing Activities, and Training Activities etc. with the respective departments.
• Check the rosters sent by the stores monthly to make sure that they are aligned with events & activities requirement.
Customer Service
• Receive customers’ feedback and support stores to change as request
• Follow up the scope of change to make it successful
Suppliers Contact & COREFA Administration
• Contact various suppliers to find the best cost execution.
• Follow up with supplier to end the work and report update to Head of Retail / Area Manager
• Open a new supplier in COREFA, issue PO related to the work done, scan the documents into the COREFA system
Retail Projects
• Assist Head of Retail on retail projects
Others
• Any others ad hoc duties assigned
Reporting line & key stakeholders:
The Retail Operations Assist Manager / Manager will report to Head of Retail.
