  1. • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
  2. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control, preferably in the cannabis, food or pharmaceutical industry.
  3. • Familiarity with cannabis regulations, quality standards, and testing methods.
  4. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  5. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. • Good English and Computer skills.
  7. • Certifications in Quality Control, such as ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP, or GAP, are preferred.
  8. • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) in the cannabis industry.


Key Responsibilities: • Quality Inspections: Perform regular inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure adherence to quality standards. • Establish, develop, implement and monitor quality control system with proper documentation. • Inspection and Testing: Perform visual inspections, measurements, and tests using precision tools and equipment to verify product dimensions, appearance, and functionality. • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including inspection results, testing reports, and non-conformance reports. • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state regarding cannabis production and quality standards. • Process Improvement: Collaborate with production and cultivation teams to identify areas for improvement in processes and quality control systems. • Training: Provide training and support to staff on quality control practices, procedures, and regulatory requirements. • Complaint Resolution: Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, working closely with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions. • Audits: Assist in internal and external audits, providing documentation and support as needed. • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean, 5S, and other quality management methodologies.
