Engineer Manager

- -Possess at least Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent field.
- -Minimum 8 years of working experience in a maintenance role within the manufacturing environment.
- -Minimum 3 years in a leadership / people management function.
- -Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.
- -Strong troubleshooting skills, good leadership skills, interpersonal skills and analytical approach to problem solving.
- -Proactive, results-oriented, high level of integrity, decisive and possess good follow-through.
- -Ability to multitask and prioritise workload while delivering high accuracy/quality works.
- -Ability to communicate at all levels of management and good presentation skills.
- -Ability to work with relevant stakeholders in projects undertaken Company.
- -Good teamwork approach with positive attitude, independent and fast learner.
1. Plan, implement and analyse preventive maintenance and autonomous maintenance.
2. Scheduling and overseeing all maintenance-related work for machinery and equipment, facilities, office building.
3. Coordinate and direct maintenance activities, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and direct the integration of technical activities.
4. Ensure technical reliability of machines and utilities.
5. Ensure that all maintenance operations are done in accordance with company policy and OSHA guidelines.
6. Support any technical breakdown of plant machinery and/or facilities and rectify it in a timely manner.
7. Support product and non-product development activities (i.e., trial runs, change control).
8. Prepare, manage, and control annual engineering service/repair maintenance budget and forecasts.
9. Developing and implementing a (proactive) maintenance program.
10. Sourcing technical support from internal source (within the organisation) and external stakeholders (supplier, outsourcing) to ensure adequate engineering capabilities to support business in a highly competitive environment.
11. Monitor and maintain the management system (ISO) for maintenance/engineering functions.
12. Review and evaluate maintenance operations.
13. Participate in any internal audits and relevant audits.
14. Implement comprehensive risk assessment including occupational health and safety, fire safety and essential services and environmental.
15. Implement best practices, standards, and procedures in all maintenance functionalities.
16. Improvise maintenance operations to save on costs and work time.
17. Guide and organize the writing of Maintenance SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures), WI’s (Working instructions).
18. Guides, coach and motivate team members. Build and foster the continuous improvement and teamwork working culture.
19. Manage and lead the team, ensuring adequate staffing levels & build up a well-operated maintenance team.
