IT Manager Roles & Responsibilities
## IT Strategy & Governance
- Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Establish and enforce corporate policies for computer usage, internet access, and IT peripherals.
- Design and Collaborate Risk Management frameworks and ensure compliance with Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
- Collaborate in developing IT Governance standards and IT Security policies across the organization.
## Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Supervise and monitor team performance to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Enhance team competencies through continuous skills development and knowledge improvement initiatives.
- Define and monitor KPIs and SLAs to measure service performance and operational efficiency.
## Budget & Cost Management
- Manage vendors effectively to control costs within approved budgets.
- Oversee IT Asset & Inventory Management, including lifecycle planning and utilization optimization.
- Prepare and manage annual IT budgets while maintaining cost discipline.
- Conduct cost optimization analysis to improve operational efficiency
## Project Management
- Define project scope, timeline, budget, vendor selection, risk management, quality control, and delivery milestones.
- Lead system implementation projects such as Cloud Infrastructure, Ticket Management Systems, CRM, ERP, E-Library, E-Leave, Payroll & Accounting Systems, and POS Systems.
- Coordinate and supervise external service providers to ensure timely and quality project completion.
## IT Operations & Infrastructure Management
- Oversee Data Center operations (On-Premise & Cloud Infrastructure).
- Manage Software License compliance and optimization.
- Administer Email Systems, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365 (MS365).
- Manage Domain registration, hosting, and corporate websites.
- Lead Cybersecurity initiatives including Firewall, Endpoint Protection, and Access Control systems.
- Develop and maintain Backup & Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP).
- Manage CCTV systems and physical security technology.
- Maintain Network Infrastructure (Firewall, Access Points, LAN/WAN).
- Oversee Help Desk & Ticketing systems to ensure service excellence.
- Provide POS system support and ensure operational continuity.
