Senior Manager, Merchandising & Procurement (Jewelry & Gemstones)
In my most recent role, I was responsible for leading the complete merchandising lifecycle for gemstone jewelry, from concept to execution. My work involved strategic product planning, gemstone sourcing, and international client coordination to meet the dynamic demands of retail and TV channel buyers across multiple global markets.

Key Responsibilities:
Product Development: Proposed new jewelry collections based on market research and trend analysis.

Gemstone Sourcing: Procured semi-precious and precious gemstones from domestic and international vendors, ensuring quality, pricing, and timely delivery.

Inventory Management: Monitored stock utilization, created demand forecasts, and coordinated closely with the production and warehouse teams.

Client Coordination: Acted as the point of contact for global buyers, handling orders, feedback, and customized product requirements.

Team Supervision: Managed a team across merchandising, documentation, and production follow-up, ensuring smooth workflow and deadline adherence.

Reporting & Analysis: Maintained sales reports, buyer-wise performance data, and collection-wise feedback to refine future planning.

Software Tools Used: AMS, JV3 for order management, stock tracking, and vendor communication.
