Responsibility
- Drive and support the SCM team to develop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing and respond to corporate strategy.
- Lead and Drive initiatives to manage % inflation as a company target, through Negotiation & Sourcing Initiatives and the Spend Smarter project.
- Drive the team to develop alternative suppliers, initiate long-term category strategy development, maintain vendor relationships, and regularly research the market for new procurement opportunities.
- Ensure all food /nonfood items supplied and required for operation and other needs are OTIF (on time in full).
- Manage relationships with suppliers through account management
- Monitor inventory levels and manage supply chain logistics to minimize waste and excess inventory
- Drive the SCM team to support projects that drive Pizza Hut's business growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet company standards
- Lead new product development starting from product concept, and manage the development process in order to ensure that it meets customer expectations and fulfills their satisfaction.
- Study and search all info related to new product concepts, ingredients, or development processes
- Working with the Pizza Hut Asian Pacific Franchisee Unit (APFBU) to update on global product trends.
- Work closely with GM, Marketing, Operation, and Food Innovation Team to ensure all products are available at stores on time.
- Drive supply chain team to deliver new product development on time and budget
- Provide proper coaching to the subordinates on a proper basis and need. Encourage and support the subordinates to receive proper in-house or external training that is needed and beneficial for their job performance or career development.
- Work with 3PL (Linfox) to ensure the stocks can be supplied with quality to all customers. Also, the inventory level at the distribution center will be optimized.
- Work with 3PL to develop long-term relationships. The ongoing developments with 3PL are also required to be planned and executed.
- Work closely with sourcing and quality assurance to ensure smooth operation, especially for the promotion.
- Solve day-to-day SCM operational issues, e.g. short supply delivery, short allocation at stores, etc.
- Continue to improve the working process and bring innovation to business.
- Ensure all KPIs are achieved.
- Handle other special projects as assigned
Responsibility
- Define, develop, and implement purchasing/ supplier development strategies to achieve cost of sale (COS) targets
- Sourcing and negotiating for food ingredient inventories e.g. French Fries, Wheat flour, Rice, and flour products supporting to KFC and Pizza Hut core menus.
- Support quality improvement and new product development initiatives and follow-though on corrective action plans with suppliers
- Recruit and Develop new suppliers of core ingredients for yearly bidding under the policy.
- Initiate and develop alternative suppliers supporting to Yearly Cost saving project.
- Monitor and replenish inventory stock ensuring enough supply to store volume consumption by providing monthly volume projections to suppliers.
- Provide support to the Manager for the Annual Operation plan review with the Board of directors.
- Be a participant in supplier performance assessment every year.
- Sourcing and purchasing raw materials (corn, grain, rice bran, etc) supporting the production factories of Betagro Group.
- Monitor and analyze commodities market situation & trends for Budget planning.
- Recruit new suppliers, conduct supplier assessment audits, and classify suppliers according to their performance
