Mission.:
Lead customer application development in terms of Design and/or Process changes of the products already in mass production in compliance with performance objectives (Quality, Cost, Profitability, Delivery, Timing, Flawless production launch).

Responsibilities.:
Ensure Current Project performance.
 Manages all project changes from customers and from Site needs (for Quality, Profitability, reliability and improvements).
 Ensure project objectives in terms of profitability (product and development), quality, cost and timing.
 Check and validate Project Team Members activities and propose timing scenario to achieve milestones.
 Could conduct concept competitions to obtain customer orders (prefer: on case by case).
 Secure Project resources and control them.
 Solve all Current project issues with support of simultaneous engineering functions.

Manage functionally and operationally Current Project Team with function contributors.
 Define and manage his/her budget (all resources).
 Define scope of projects.
 Prepare project phases reviews at Top Management and Technical Committee level for Big change current projects. or ECR/ECO milestones at relevant committee.
 Prepare and submit IAR.
 Is functionally responsible of all PTMs, set project objectives, ensure appraisal of Project Team Members.

Manage communication with Clients on Project development progress
 Keep client(s) updated on his/her Project progress.

Highlight the main responsibilities.

 Maintaining integrity of design and quality parameters of products ( Electrical & Electronic parts ,
Metal parts and Plastic parts ).
 Maintaining Bills of Materials and assist with product costing.
 Introduce engineering changes into manufacturing plant, track changes dates & keep PD and Factory informed
 Act as contact point for all product design matters
 Prepare designs/improvements using CAD tools. These may be for metal or plastic parts.
 Ensure compliance at all time of HS policies, and product safety standard compliance.
 Other tasks following supervisor’s assignment or company policy.
 Work with QA to collect appropriate Cp and Cpk data for use by PD on future designs.
 Work closely with QA, control systems and process engineering to find route cause of product faults at all test stages and drive the improvement of product specification if this is part of the solution.
 Investigate and find route causes of product faults in the field and drive the improvement of internal testing, process improvement and product specifications to prevent reoccurrence.
 Write engineering change notices and concessions for the factories and drive these changes through PD.
 Drive localization of parts and product cost saving projects locally.
 UL support audit products in Thailand Plant.

 Engineering change control , information and monitoring until finish.
 Implementing engineering change requests and creating ideas.
 BOM control.
 Prepare wire harness and material packing standard and training to concern section.
 Initiate cost reduction and productivity improvement project.
 Standard time monitoring, Equipment and Manpower planning & Layout design.
 Clearly understand customer's requirements and standards, to be used in development.
 Contact with customer, R&D Problem of product.
 Provide technical support to other function on related manufacturing issue.
 Joint check and support design data when new model at customer.
