Job description
+ Drive continuous improvement for manufacturing, logistics, supply chain and enabling functions
performance with continuous improvement (LEAN) tools to achieve operational targets
+ Manage team to lead & implement projects base on charter(DMAIC) from abnormalities identified
and leadership assignments
+ Cooperate with relate function/department to drive project achievement target.
+ Support top management for any task assignment

+ Manage team to achieved 14 improvement project in 3 company benefit >200 MTHB/yr
+ Project manager Plant scrap reduction from 7.5% to 4.5%
+ Improve forklift transportation distance 60% by re-layout storage area.
+ Improve and deploy TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) to reduce machine %breakdown 70%
(Reduce from 4.8% to 1.5%).

+ Paint Production Engineering Manager, responsible in overall section KPI.(Safety Quality Cost Productivity)
+ Manage Paint Production Engineer team to follow up quality improvement, cost reduction activity,
facility improvement, new model management and other KAIZEN activity.
+ Project management for New model preparation, Faclity&Tooling, trial for improve quality and
productivity problem and unit cost caculation(CPU)
+ Plant capacity improvement. Process design/caculation and scheduling installation plan for achieve
target in time.
+ Cooperate with Production, Maintenance & QA team to improve quality and productivity problem.
+ Support maintenance team for set machine maintenance standard.
+ Function budget (CAPEX&OPEX) setting and management.
+ People management, to organize and training team skill to be achieve yearly(FY) target setting
+ Support top management for any task assignment

+ Production capacity improvement (Plant modify level) from 7,000 units/month to 10,000 units/month
(Plant facility modify and improvement)
+ New model control and follow up (Terra & minor change model) to achieve plant KPI target.

+ New color trial for support minor change model.
+ Cost reduction actvity 15-20 MTHB/yr. (VA/VE activtiy)
+ Install automation system improve manual operation (Man power redution activity)
+ Install Production Monitoring System to real time monitor & collect production efficiency
result for improve production efficiency by more accuracy & real time information.
+ Improve productivity by Paint quality improvement (Top coat DPU from 25 defects/unit
to 8 defects/unit)
+ Set up AM(Autonomous Maintenance) plan and support maintenace team to revise PM(Preventive
Maintenace plan) can improve %OEE from 80% to 85%.

+ Chief Engineer of Toyota Gateway plant paint shop responsible in EDP (preventive rust paint
coating), Sealer process & overview shop quality. Make KAIZEN(improvement project)&process
maintenance plan. Improve process machine or tooling can produce the product (car body)
in smooth condition(high quality, suitable Cost)
+ Planning schedule & coordinate with other section for maintenance & renovate machine or tooling
to keep process can smoothly production (no breakdown problem), example paint shop
yearly cleaning period, planning to completely renovate or maintenance process in limited time
on shut down period and no effect when start production.
+ Support New model preparation (quality part)
+ Monitor, analyze and correct defect by install new machine or tooling. Make quality problem report
to management (Support report & presentation to Asst.Mgr.)
Example achievement
+ FY12 - FY14 yearly cleaning schedule plan & follow up.
+ Create KAIZEN activity to reduce 60% of EDP defect.
+ Support EDP process modify for support production volume up.
+ Setting chemical lab room for support EDP parameter check.
+ Renovate all of EDP anode cell.
+ Install dust particle counter monitoring.
+ Set system EDP & Sealer process spare part.
+ Renovate paint booth air supply structure.
