- To promote the hotel in the corporate and travel agents. To achieve optimal sales at the best possible conditions for the company.
- Prepare annual Marketing Plan for the hotel to ensure that action plans drawn up are implemented on time and revised regularly.
- Ensure that all statistical requirements are recorded by the required time and ready for submission to the General Manager and for immediate review.
- To ensure that marketing intelligence is constantly gathered by the sales staff and are duly disseminated for counter-measures to be taken.
- To prepare monthly and annually revenue budgeted guide the team to achieved budgeted revenue with better Rev Par vs competitor.
- Primarily assists the Director of Business Development, focusing mostly on managing schedules and the distribution of any sales documentation.
- Liaise between other departments and the client to provide the service most suitable to the agent/clients needs, cost and time restraints.
- Work closely with the other sales persons to assess the progress of the department and develop Sales strategy accordingly.
- Prepares and then follows up on any sales quotations made for clients, negotiating terms with the client at a cost best suited for them.
- Managing multiple administrative tasks simultaneously.
- Dealing with internal and external customers.
- Preparing month-end Sales reports for Director of Business Development.
- Maintaining an efficient work environment for all.
- Determining administrative work in order of priority and importance.
- Provide tailor-made group tours, as well as tours for individuals, and design activities to meet the specific desires of each group of visitors to oversee travel agencies over the world.
- Correspondence with oversea travel agencies and customer via e-mail and telephone. Besides, provide travel information and prices and counsel customers on terms and conditions of travel e.g. cancellation policies.
- Support B2B & OTA Reservation Team to re-negotiate hotel & supplier rates from main contract rate after booking is confirmed.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns.
- Supervise, train, schedule and evaluate reservation staffs, ensuring that all procedures are performed to meet with company policies and standards.
- In charge of all luxury services, and some unique accommodations and boutique hotels; which included in the created packages.
- Seek for trust and new suppliers in Thailand and analysing suppliers contract rates, promotions and tour descriptions; then, negotiate for competitive rates and appropriate credit line (term of payment).
- Work with suppliers and meeting quality standards within agreed response
- Control quality and negotiate competitive prices
- In charge of all calculation sheets for year-round tariff (UK, US, special for Spanish & LATAM, Australian & Chez Republic).
- Support our operation and reservation teams by providing all information needs inclusive of prices of ground vendors throughout Thailand.
- Providing proposal/quotation/tour itinerary/tailor-made based on daily requirements.
- Maintain complete knowledge of all our products, services, rates and promotions, between Tour East (T.E.T.) and tour operators/suppliers.
- Work with MICE Team to support about Product knowledge in Thailand.
- Work with Director of Procurement & Product Development to create and promote new products to differentiate ourselves from competition.
- Support Deputy of General Manager and Senior Vice President in creation and execution of the yearly contracting plan, agreed strategies and objectives.
