MEP Assistant Project Managers are responsible for coordinating the
administrative requirements of the project. Primarily this function manages the
MEP trades, expedites and documents the flow of information between all project
team members by assisting project managers with schedule updates, facilitating
pre-installation conferences, managing shop drawing and submittals, providing
submittal review for compliance with documents, field conditions and Owner
requirements, distributing contract drawings and sketches, and expediting material
deliveries to meet schedule requirements. Preferred experience in managing the
MEP aspects of technical projects with a GC, CM or subcontractor.
Review the design/tender drawing and specification and give comment in case there is any problem from the quality point of view.
Manage the repair and rectification works process during warranty period of each project.
Inspect completed units at handover from Projects team to estates/ hotel services prior to transfer to eventual owners.
Ensure a benchmark standard of quality is set and maintained for each project.
Ensure works at handover are constructed in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Document, Contract Specification, and Contract Drawing etc.
This includes assisting with preparation of inspection reports & documentation with project team
To manage the delivery of services to the client ensuring the contractual requirements are met for M&E refits and refurbishments.
To initiate energy reduction procedures.
To manage cost effective delivery solutions for M&E facilities services hard and soft services and office refurbishments
Manage the project delivery of outsourced suppliers HVAC and M&E contractors
To assist in project management on small to large M&E , HVAC installations / small works
To meet the need and fulfilment of all contract obligations
Develop relationships with key suppliers
Client and company interface
Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client;
Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work;
Assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertake feasibility studies;
Perform risk, value management and cost control;
Advise on a procurement strategy;
Identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risks;
Prepare and analyse costings for tenders;
Allocate work to subcontractors;
Provide advice on contractual claims;
Analyse outcomes and write detailed progress reports;
Value completed work and arrange payments;
Maintain awareness of the different building contracts in current use;
Understand the implications of health and safety regulations.

- Maintain direct contact with suppliers and local authorities concerning facility management and building renovation or new building.
- Develops and maintains a good relationship with guests, contractors, suppliers, owning company and teams.

- Manage, monitor and supervise any project initiated/created by the company to ensure its progress, efficiency and completion by the deadline. The projects include new, renovation, addition, expansion and maintenance.
- Take lead role in contacting and building relationship with government authorities on licensing of projects in term of construction, safety & health or environmental concerns.
- Leading role in project design and architectural in order to ensure that the needs of the owner is met upon completion and operational.
- Liaise with contractors on every project for efficiency, quality control, safety and completion.
- Ensure repair & maintenance of every site is being conducted as per routine and timetable.
- Supervise teams; Graphic Design, Information Technology, Technician and Gardener.
- Manage facilities and building renovation project by maintaining the building assets through ongoing preventive maintenance as well as day to day maintenance activities.
- Ensures all plant, equipment, building systems and fire preventive alarm system are in place and in proper function.
- Ensure all mechanical and plant systems are operating efficiently.
