Global Sourcing and Supplier Assessment
• Lead and implement alternative supplier sourcing strategies as well as assess potentiality of new suppliers.
• Manage company’s Approved Vendor List of over 150 suppliers and more than 200 products.
• Plan and conduct supplier site audit according to company’s requirements and on specific purpose.
• Initiate process improvement project to improve efficiency of “Supplier Database” and performance system.
• Provide internal training related to Strategic Procurement and Supplier Management within company.

Key suppliers Management
• Develop strategic supplier’s portfolio and design supplier management strategy.
• Establish supplier KPI program and long-term improvement plan for key suppliers.

Product Development and Shipment Control
• Develop full cycle of new models with supplier: 1st prototype, Size set, and Master samples.
• Develop new components and control quality of 1st lot fabric following standard requirements.
• Ensure the conformities of the master samples through the validation and testing process.
• Guarantee the quality of finished products in mass lot by performing Inline and Final inspection, using AQL standard.
• Propose new innovative products of garments and fabric to HQ in France.
• Execute the committed master plan and liaise with all functions (Supply chain, HQ… etc.) to have product in time.
• Review capacity booking in each factory and find the solution in case of capacity problem.
• Manage shipment plan and control development and production lead-time to reach the targeted delivery date.

Price Analysis and Negotiation
• Set up the negotiation objectives and strategy with brand buyer (Policy/Target/Break-even point).
• Analyze cost breakdown and conduct the negotiation with local and foreign suppliers to achieve the target price.
• Define supplier’s KPIs and develop cost reduction program with strategic suppliers.
• Provide technical advices on the design of products or components to reduce or optimize the cost.

Productivity and Efficiency Improvement
• Control consumption, SAM and Efficiency through marker and line operation analysis in order to find the best resolution.
• Set up line balancing in factory’s production line to control the sewing efficiency.
• Solve the problem of the production with IE in case of bottle neck or quality problem in production.
• Duplicate and transfer technical know-how to local site.

Quality Management
• Define Control plan for supplier to assure quality and security of finished products and components according to company’s standard.
• Analyze sales & quality figures of product’s return rate after sales, anticipate risk of products with high return and define specific action plans.
• Set up quality target of the team as well as challenge team members and suppliers for continuous improvement.
• Perform “QA Evaluation Audit” to ensure their knowledge and skills meet company’s requirements.
• Provide training on “Quality Management” topics, i.e. analytical & problem-solving skills, Quality Standards as well as “Product’s and Supplier’s Quality Management”.

Supplier Management
• Analyze monthly performance of supplier, monitor the situation, and define action plan for possible impact.
• Manage finished goods suppliers to reach the company’s supply and quality target (delivery / quality / cost).
• Source new supplier (factory), in order to expand capacity to support the business growth.
• Set up training plan for new suppliers and challenge the existing ones to become strategic suppliers.
• Conduct and follow up Quality and Social Audit to ensure the supplier’s compliance according to Decathlon’s policy.
