I have integrated three predominant theories, namely transaction cost economy (TCE), resource dependency theory (RDT), and social embedded theory (SET) to explain the formation of IOR between two or more firms and organizations. The conceptual framework consists of variables that explains the coupling of organizational architecture and eventual alliance performance. I chose this topic because having worked in banking industry for considerable years, I have realized that both formal and relational governing mechanism are equally significant in enhancing overall portfolio development. Relational mechanism such as trust enables clients to share all relevant information that are required to prepare loan appraisal.
