• Developing transportation relationships. (3PLs management, customer relationship)
• Monitoring transport costs. (Create and manage Golden rule of delivery *safety and cost)
• Monitoring spending to ensure that expenses are consistent with approved budgets.
• Negotiating and bargaining transportation prices. (In terms of the new bidding)
• Confronting climate change issues by implementing transport strategies and monitoring an organization’s carbon footprint. (Finding alternative ways to reduce Co2 emission.)
• Monitoring and controlling of planning routes and scheduling for multi-drop deliveries.
• Ensuring all activities in the Transportation are working effectively and efficiently to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitoring operations to ensure that staff members comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules, contracts agreement, and government regulations.
• Promote safe work activities by conducting safety audits, attending company safety meetings, and meeting with individual staff members.
• Communicating effectively with clients and responding to their requirements.
• Customer claim and complaint management.
• Directing inventory of returns/stock control and management including the development, performance and maintenance return process to produce an efficient system and solution, maximizing performance minimizing loss against pre-agreed targets and controls.
• Ensuring that the team understands their duties, the mechanisms of the Return process and their role.
• Effective liaison, support and assistance with the whole of the organization.
• Support to all other departments with related interests.
• Reporting (content and format as agreed) on a monthly basis or as otherwise required.
• Assist in developing plans for team activities to include a strategy to achieve targets.
• Delegate authority and responsibility to team with supervision, accountability, and review.
• Responsibly use resources and control expenses to meet budgetary controls.

 Plans, organizes, staffs, directs and controls the day-to-day operations of the department; develops and implements policies and programs as necessary.  Develops and manages the department budget; ensures compliance and addresses variances and other budget concerns.  Manage execute operational standards to meet or exceed all facility goals, and measures, including overall productivity.  Coordinates with other departments operations (e.g., 3PLs, Transport Operations Team, Sameday and Nextday service team, KAM, CS etc.) to make sure our productivity smooth.  Participates in the development of responsible for administering company safety strategies and programs.  Monitors the education and implementation of employee safety and accident/injury programs and prevention.  Manages a system of controls to ensure that service levels and operational performance goals are met within prescribed operational goals established on the aCommerce Transportation Operations summary.
