- Consult to operation department for C/P disputes with
Shipowner/Charterer/Sub-Charterer and P&I coverage;
- Administrate insurance entries and correspond with insurers and brokers for
insurance related matters;
- Coordinate with Broker Insurance and Insurers for provide enough evidences,
information regarding coverage;
- Handle claim under Bill of Lading from consignee, cargo's Insurer and
Subrogated parties.

- Set the reserve within timeframe;
- Investigate the nature of the damage being claimed;
- Interview witnesses to understand the nature of the claim and gain an
understanding of what occurred prior to the claim;
- Evaluate police reports, video footage, previous insurance claims and other
information to further understand the incident;
- Review the claim-holder's insurance policy in order to determine what should
be covered;
- Coordinate the salvage and recovery.
