Monitor and manage all the marketing functions including commercial/contractual issues,negotiate and prepare business proposals to the shipping lines,preparing the presentation on terminal visits,contracts,budget and forecast.
- Set direction for achievement of targets for volume and yield of each customer.
- Gather reliable market intelligence for the purpose of analyzing the market situation.
- Plan and coordinate all market events,advertisements and corporate P.R.
- Cultivate relationship and support from the shipping lines.
- Communicate effectively with customer,respond to their requirements and feedback on services with related departments.
- Manage in the cargo industry focuses on applying marketing techniques to develop strategies for effective pricing of services, identify new cargo destinations and expand freight service.
- Liaise with all relevant departments to determine costing and pricing strategies for existing and new services to ensure that optimal profitability
